Danny is first and foremost a bassist, who spent many years touring as a professional player around various parts of the globe playing World, Jazz, Funk, Soukous, Soca, Latin, Drum n Bass and other amalgams of modern contemporary music. supporting DJs (including Jeff Mills, Andy Weatherall), Working with the Netherlands Blazers Ensemble and Real World Records (as bassist for Ayub Ogada), Co-writing with Jehlisa Andersen, accompanying actress and vocalist Kate Dimbleby in theatrical production about Peggy Lee, and much more. Secondly Danny is a composer, (see the composition page for more on this). And thirdly he is a multi instrumentalist with piano, guitar, drums, percussion and vocal skills to add to the mix. 
Now Danny lives in Tokyo with his growing family and gigs with Duality, teaches and composes.

Kousuke is a talented man. A student of revered drummer Bobby Campbell and a diligent practitioneer who has big ears (musically speaking), the memory of an Elephant, learns quickly and can play an ecclectic mix of styles! The ideal candidate for Duality. 

Duality is Danny's live project; a unique Bass guitar and vocal driven pop power duo. The duo showcases Danny's unique multi-part bass playing style, fluid horn like solos and bustling grooves. Most songs have no backing tracks or loops as accompaniment, (although a looper is employed on a few); so much of what is heard at live performances  is purely just one bass, vocals and drums! Duality's performances and Danny's playing have, despite the band's recent start, been dubbed as "high level", with vocals likened to Sting, solo phrasing and scat style to George Benson, and general style as eclectic and enthusing with appeal to a wider audience and age range. The energy, sheer technique, coordination and dedication that goes into Duality performances makes it exciting to watch. Many bassists have their party trick pieces, but Duality's premis is not about party pieces, it's about playing musical (not nrecessarily technical, or fast), parts simultaneously with vocals. With over an hour of material that's a lot of different stuff going on with many textures achieved by employing various techniques such as harmonics, tapping, slapping, classical techniques, chordal playing, and more. 

Dualityは、ダニーMスチュアートの新しいプロジェクトで、ベース&ボーカルと、ドラムの二人編成のDUOです。
ポップなメロディーに、ファンク、ラテン、レゲエのリズムエッセンスを取り込んだ多種多様な曲を演奏します。
ダニーは、個性的なベーシストで、ボーカルも同時にすることによって、グルーブとメロディーとハーモニーをつくりだします。
ソロパートでは、ホーンセクションのようにパーカッシブかつ流れるような表情に富んだスタイルで演奏します。
ボーカルを同時にこなすなかなかめずらしいスタイルなので、一見の価値アリでしょう！！
今回、ドラマーには高橋コウスケを迎えました。彼は、ダニーのアレンジに対応しうる多彩なリズムセンスと、しっかりとしたグルーブを持っています。

Duality was formed in July 2011 when Danny happened upon Kousuke's drumming skills after auditioning a few candidates for this unique and challenging project. 
Kousuke had little experience live, however, had definite talent and ability in a broad range of styles which was exactly what Danny was after. The match was ideal for Danny as his ambition to play live multi-bass parts and sing simultaneously is a dream rekindled, and one that requires much practice. So, working with Kousuke meant growing and developing musically and in skill, and learning together.

２０１１年　7月　に　ダニ　スツウアート　さんは　ドラム　オーデイシオン　を準備しました、でも　だれもごおかくしたないのじょうきょうしまいました,　 なぜならはりょうほうのスタイルもできませんでした。杉の週　ダニさんは　リハーサルスタジオ　一人で練習のために行きました。そのスタジオ　竹橋　幸助さんにあった、　音楽のはなしについた、すると高橋さんの音楽のしゅみがほとんど同じをりかいしました　たておば、　フアンク、ジャズ、レーゲイ、ラテイン、ドラムアンドベース、メータル、そして　ダニはいしょにジャムをてえんした。そのとき　から　DUALITY　はじめた、　まい週　リハーサル　しました　そして、10月　にデイブウライーブ　しました。（日本語のほんゃくはたしかに　かんぺきじぇない　がいこくじん　だから！すまみせんねー！）
